Route 11 News is a local, independent community news and business information site created by me.
I have lived in Strasburg since August 2019 (boy, time flies!) and started this site to serve Shenandoah County and nearby areas like Middletown and Stephens City.
I also lived for many years in Front Royal and Bentonville, Va., and am the publisher of the Warren/Frederick County Report newspaper. I own the entertainment and sound production company Route 11 DJ.
I was born in Okinawa and lived all over the world as a kid, so I don’t really have a single hometown where I grew up knowing everybody — but this area is the closest thing to my adopted hometown.
This site is run by me, a local resident, not a big corporation or outside group. If you see news here, you can trust it’s coming from someone who lives here and cares about this area. We also have business members on this site and will work hard to share their news, too.
