The Town of Middletown has named longtime farmer and community volunteer Gary Clem its 2026 Citizen of the Year and Detective Sandy Seabaugh its 2026 Employee of the Year. Both will be formally recognized during Middletown’s America 250 Independence Day Celebration July 4, 2026.

The Freedom 250 Mobile Museum is part of Middletown’s broader slate of America 250 events, culminating in the town’s annual July 4th Celebration, home to the area’s only Independence Day parade within an hour’s distance.
